of Kennewick Planning Commission
The Planning Commission
is a seven-member body appointed by City Council as advisors on
matters relating to land use, economic development, infrastructure,
and urban design.
The Commission has responsibility
for maintaining a comprehensive plan for the City's development.
This plan is reviewed and revised to provide for the City's continued
growth in ways to create and preserve a more healthful, serviceable
and attractive municipality and environment. The commission
accomplishes this by carrying out a work plan with annual revisions
and updates.
Meeting time: 1st and 3rd Mondays at 7:00 p.m.
Length of Term: 4 years
